| Re: Circulars Issued by the DIG, Orissa about guidelines for arrest Dear Sir/Madam
I am requesting you kindly to inform me the actual rule of Indian Railwayas as I was suffering during my travel the detail is written below
I had to travle from New Delhi to Jharsuguda on dated 19-Aug-2008 and the PNR No & the seat no of mine were 2350947651, S7/0070/CONFIRM. As my ticket was from Nizamuddin to Jharsuguda so I had purchased a ticket from New Delhi to Nizamuddind to catch Utkal Exp. Due to worriness of mine I found that Kerala Express was started and I could get success to catch this train on last coach ( Jeneral Coach and was nearer to Guard Coch. At the time I came to know that this train has no stopache at Nizamuddin Station so I went to ask a Ticket Collecter who was also this coach he searched my ticket and told me that this tcket is not valid for this train and you have to pay Rs 304/- so that you can catch Utkal Express at Mathura. I told him that Sir I have only Rs 150/- . Then he was started to misbehave me mean while the same train could not get signal at faislabad station so the train stopped here then the T.T.E had taken Rs 100/- from me and told me to out from train. So I left this train and asked some persons about Faridabad Station & by the help of them I went to Badarpur Boarder and there I got a bus and finally I went to Faridabad Station and by the blessing of God I could get success to catch Utkal express. And finally I have reached at my home safely.
I am asking here Sir is it true that One train ticket is not valid for other train ( same route) if yes then I am sorry to disturb you. Can I use this train to catch utkal express at Mathura Station or not ??
Kindly calrify my doubt so that I will never meet such type of problem.
Thanks with regards
