    Help for Domestic Violence victims

    Hi there,

I am currently based in UK but originally from India. I want to come back to India and do something for the women who suffer Domestic Violence by the hands of their husband. Could anyone please advise how can I start an NGO to help such women to overcome this situation? What is the procedure?

I do understand that thinking about an NGO is a dream that is too too too far. So I want to take one step at a time. Could you please advise how and where to start from?

Being in UK for so many years, I have no idea how to start it when I come back. Please help.

Hi Anirban, thanks for your swift reply and also the help that you have offered unconditionally. I will email you separately and we can discuss this. However, through this forum, I am particularly interested in some advice on how can i start working on this? Are there any legal implications? Do I need to do any Goverment formalities? Can Government help with funding?
