Status of Second Appeal to CIC
I had filed a second appeal with Central Information Commission (CIC) on April 21st 2011. Even after more than a year, I see no progress so far. Please let me know if there is any procedure or channel for me to approach CIC to expedite my second appeal.

You can check status at CIC or alternatively file RTI with CPIO of CIC to know status etc. Normally it takes 6 to 18 months depending upon efficiency of IC who is to hear it. You can also peruse list of pending appeals posted on said website.
