    SHO advised to forward RTI to concerned PIO-Good Decision

    Appellant filed RTI to PIO, SHO, Police station Khetri, seeking information regarding one police case no. 433/09.

    Both parties absent during hearing. However Respondent submitted that since he is not designated PIO (Addl SP is PIO), therefore he is not bound to provide information.

    Ld SIC agreed with above however noted that since SHO was aware of above, therefore it would have been appropriate that he should have forwarded the application to addl SP (PIO).

    Finally Ld SIC Directed SHO to forward the application to PIO and PIO was directed to provide information as per law.
