Hi
I had requested for two Information from the BMC (water connection and Repairs permission, after 40 days i have got replies on both my RTIs

the first one
The file papers is not traceable in this office record.

the second RTI
The information as sought by you is not available in this office in the form of documents ,hence cannot be Furnished.

Kindly advice what needs to be done further.

File first appeal for malafide denied

You need to file first appeal for non supply of information. Please refer:

a. FOR case no. 1 file another RTI application by taking help from this blog: http://www.rtiindia.org/forum/blogs/...e-records.html

b. FOR case no. 2, file FA and pray to FA to order PIO to supply the info in form its available.

PIO cannot confine to his department or office. He has to hunt for the information in whole of BMC and suck it to be supplied to you. He has to take assistance of other officers of BMC [as deemed PIO] to get the information from any location within BMC. Please include this point in first appeal.
