    SIR,
MY SISTER HAD APPLIED FOR PASSPORT (FILE NO. VS03Z1020621511) ON 16/12/2011 IN KAKINADA. THE STATUS TRACKER SAYS
"Police has completed verification process on 08/05/2012. Your passport will be dispatched after 'Clear' Police Verification Report is received at Regional Passport Office. You would receive an email/sms once the passport is dispatched".

SHE HASN'T RECEIVED HER PASSPORT NOR ANY MESSAGE YET.

I WANTED TO KNOW WHAT CAN WE DO THROUGH RTI TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO THE PASSPORT? THE RECEIPT HAS BEEN MISPLACED AND WE DON'T HAVE A COPY OF APPLICATION FORM SIR.

Re: RTI for PASSPORT:- HOW do I pay for RTI?

    Thanks for the reply,
I went the articles, here is my understanding from the articles. I can pay the application fee by sticking court stamp of rupees 10 on the envelop.

I have a doubt now article says:

"Appellant has to affix court fee stamp of Rs.20/- for first and second appeal." The quoted statement from the article says we have to affix Rs 20 for first and second appeal.
Does this will apply to me too?
if yes then Do I need to affix total of Rs. 30 court fee stamp?

If its a very noob Question then sorry I have no Idea how all this works.
