    Hello,

I had booked Parcel to USA for my daughter at L.L Sarani Kolkata Post Office Counter no1. Document no EW03118395IN ON 10/7/212.

On tracking, no movement is shown after 11/07/2012 as of to date. I have written Several emails but that has landed to a robotic replay.

How do I claim refund for my Parcel lost.

I can Not run around hoping table to table and Post Office to Post office.

I suggest that you write a detailed complaint and mail to Chief Post Master General [www.indiapost.gov.in] and also send hard copy by speed post ad. Track its delivery at said website and retain screen shots. If no action is taken in a month, use RTI by referring:

    Long pending? :
    http://www.rtiindia.org/forum/blogs/...ding-govt.html

    Central Govt. application:
    http://www.rtiindia.org/forum/blogs/...govt-info.html

    Make effective:
    http://www.rtiindia.org/forum/blogs/...effective.html

Since all post masters are designated as ACPIO under RTI, you can lodge RTI application addressed to CPIO o/o Chief PMG with any post office and pay Rs.10 filing fee in cash.

WE GET GOVT WE DESERVE. WHAT DO YOU PLAN FOR 2013?
