Question: How to track NSSN application status?

Hi,
I had applied for new NSSN number on April 2008 thru my previous employer. I also got the information that my application has reached the hyderabad office. But there has been no news about my NSSN card status after that. It need to withdraw my PF money frm my previous employer for which i need this SSN number.

Kindly let me know how can i track the status of my NSSN application. Is there any url for trackting it?

Any useful info will be much appreciated.

Issue of NSSN is another testimony for the inefficiency of the EPFO. There is so much delay and confusion, I doubt anyone will be able to give you any satisfactory answer. But even without the NSSN you can withdraw using your existing account number only.
