Need Help: Information on PF transfer

Dear all,
I had left my previous company 7 year ago and also submitted the form for PF transfer at the time of joining new company in January 2005. I had worked with my previous company for 4 years (May 2001-Jan 2005) and had tried several times to know whether my PF of previous company had been transferred but still do not have any confirmation on the same.

I have visited PF office (in Nehru place, Delhi) to get details, but I was told that they didn't have any documents present with the office because all the files were lost in a fire accident.

I would really appreciate the advice if anyone can help me on the procedure here in getting the confirmation of my PF transfer or there is something in RTI which will be helpful for me in this regard.

I have checked my current balance (online) and seem that the PF amount of my previous company was not included in it.

a. You may apply with PIO of concerned pf office for status of your transfer, please refer: How to file RTI Application for PF Transfer issue . Let them reply in writing.
