The State Information Commission don't sends any acknowledgement of Complaint / 2nd appeal filed with it. So how can one wheather his application has been registered ? Sajan |

Thanks for reply. That will confirm delivery of post but I want to know the number on which the complaint / 2nd appeal is registered to track. |

You might laugh at this suggestion: A month after your application reaches the SIC, file a RTI application with the SIC and ask for the registration number of your Second Appeal / Complaint. |

That indeed is funny but even I can't find a more rational solution. In case you are filing this RTI application, then in the same application please also ask the Orissa SIC to inform you the process of getting appeal number after filing second appeal. If there is no such system it will pressurize the SIC to put a system in place. |
