    Something very very fishy !
How come you do not even know to which office you went to to get your marriage registered ?

If you dont know the registrars office location/area, you are just going to be fishing for information.

You should atleast know the address at which your marriage was register.

The other option is that you file a RTI application in each of the registrar office of the city and ask for the details of your marriage certificate by giving them your details including date of birth.

Marriages are registered with Municipal Corporation or Nagarpalika of city/town. He is called Registrar of Marriages. Please make a non-RTI application seeking marriage certificate in say 5 copies [photocopy of marriage certificate is not legally valid]. He can issue as many copies [all originals] by paying additional small fee per extra copy. It is advisable to visit Corporation office personally and complete formalities for issuing additional copies of marriage certificate. If they do not issue within 15-20 days use RTI by referring:

You can address RTI to PIO, office of Registrar of Marriages, GHMC [ http://www.ghmc.gov.in/] Head Quarters, [address from website]. You can also call to call center [ref website] for exact address of this office. Also refer http://www.india.gov.in/howdo/servic...=142&service=3
