How do you manage your files ?
I file 10 to 15 RTI application every month but not able to maintain my files properly. I have tried filing them into a single folder, different folders etc. but still cant find a better way to maintain them. I normally mess up these files when my application is forwarded and when I file a first and second appeal.
Would like to how our members are able to maintain such files ? That will be a great help to me and others members as well.

Re: How do you manage your files ?
Wait for some time.Sponsorer
I have requested a software developer to develop a software to be used by applicants who file more than 5 applications a month.
This will also have various features like auto reminders, when time limits are reached.
Uploading of PIO reply and FAA order in PDF/doc format.
Search facility etc....
It will take some time to finalise and test.

Thanks. It will be an added advantage if the software also have section like our guide section and ready to edit formats for filing application.

Re: How do you manage your files ?
The main idea is to help RTI applicants to keep track of RTI applications and first/second appeals. It will have facility for making notes, uploading scans/pdfs/docs etc. The program has code to have a built in facility like time limits, etc.
If you have any suggestion, please post them here and I will get them incorporated.

Re: How do you manage your files ?
I am using this software which has all the features you have mentioned except reminding the due date.
But along with it we also need to keep records of hard copies and design a system to locate them whenever we need.
