Sub :- Regarding Medical Expense, My Husband Late Shri Suraj Bhan was Retired from your
Branch in the year 1998 and now I am legally illegible for all my medical expenses.


Respected Sir,

I am Wife of Late Shri Suraj Bhan, He is working at good And repudiated position at your branch

and he was retired in the year of 31st Dec 1998 At your branch, Till he Live we are getting

all the Medical Expenses as per rules and He was Died in the year of 2008 suffering from Cancer,

Now I am getting the pension by you at your Branch from Model Town, I am really thankful to you for

that But after He was died I did not get for medical Expense I Get your branch situated in Model Town

many times But they refuse for giving any medical Expense, At This situation I am living alone

from the year My husband died I did not get any medical Expense but from my home I find my

Medical Booklet in which describe that I am illegible for Rs..- 2000/- Per year I get back to your

Branch, Model Town and shown the medical booklet and thy agreed to pay for my medical Expenses

As per rules written in the booklet and also told me that if I am hospitalize I will be illegible for

Rs.-2 Lacs. to apply for medical expenses I am living alone and now I am not well properly I am

Living my life on medicines and On 27/08/52012 I fall down and I Get Fracture in my leg that’s why

I have to admitted In the hospital on 27/08/2012 and I get operated by the doctors and get discharge on

30/08/2012 And the medical expense comes around 1.35 Lacks. I send some one at your branch situated

in Model town Branch for reimbursement but There is no one now who guide me and don’t’ know the

proper rules that how I get back the Reimbursement, they are misguiding me I think that , As per rules I

am illegible to get the all medical expense till I died because my husband late Shri Suraj Bhan is

retired by a Govt. Repudiated Bank and I have all my medical Bills and all the medical expense details

till yet I am admitted in the hospital I request you to help me for reimbursement of medical expense that

is legal right of mine, I aspect a positive response by you as soon as possible

b. In addition that SHE may ask for copy of all circulars related to medical expenses/claims of dependent of deceased retired employee.

It would be advisable if she approaches Retired Employees Association of the Bank whose office bearers will guide her to get reimbursement of medical expenses as per her entitlement. Each bank has different rules for such reimbursements. She can get contact details by enquiring with staff of branch where she is drawing pension or calling regional office of the bank.

I could locate website of retired officers association, where she can get details.
