The Hyderabad City Police in association with Centre for Good Governance (CGG) has conducted an Orientation Training Programme on Right to Information Act, 2005 for all the Asst.Public Information Officer, Public Information Officers, First Appellate Authority of Hyderabad City Police on 4-9-2012 for effective implementation of the Act in Hyderabad City Police.
A Resource Person from Centre for Good Governance Sri Shrinivas Madhav, Consultant (RTI), has imparted overview of the Right to Information Act, role of APIO/PIO/FAA under the RTI Act.S. Prabhakar Reddy, IPS [retd] and Sri M. Ratan, IPS., [retd], A.P. State Information Commissioners have addressed the participants and shared their knowledge on the RTI subject with the APIOs/PIOs/FAA.
The APIOs/PIOs/FAA of Hyderabad City Police have benefited a lot from this Orientation Training Programme on RTI.
