    Dear Member

RTI application addressed to PIO (with fee) and as per Central Govt RTI rules. It can be placed online if email ids of PIO is in public domain and in use and even after that for payment of RTI fee you will have to follow traditional methods so better apply by using traditional methods.

FOR RTI Rules , for locating PIO , writing RTI Appl and for submitting RTI Appl see this link :

    Please refer:

    Central Govt. application:

    Make effective:

Word Limit: Since there is limit of 500 total words [excluding both addresses and annexures] for Central Govt information, you may submit more than one application to cover all the queries and mail in one envelope.

    You may apply to:

    Central Public Information Officer
    Ministry of Railways
    Rail Bhavan, Raisina Road,
    New Delhi 110001

I add that employers do not like its employees using RTI. Hence if it is not your personal information, you can request your friend to submit RTI.
