Information from Panchayat Hi,
I am from a small village of Himachal pradesh. I want know how many people are given status of BPL in my Panchayat and what was the criteria and who was the approver authority for the same.
Please let me know the procedure to file an RTI for the same.

You should file a RTI application to Deputy Commissioner office of your district and ask the following information.Sponsorer
1. Name and address of all the BPL family in your village
2. Criteria used to identify the BPL family in the village
3. Name, designation and contact number of officers who carried out the survey.
4. Name, designation and contact number of officers who verified and approved the BPL list of village.
