re: RTI for answer script from UP Board
You should mail a RTI application by Speed Post with acknowledgment, track the delivery status on Indiapost website on internet, and when the status shows delivered take a print out or save in pdf format on your computer as a proof of delivery of your RTI application to the PIO.Sponsorer
If one does not receive a response from a PIO within 35 to 40 days from the date of receipt of one's RTI application to a PIO, then one should file a first appeal with the concerned First Appellate Authority within 60 days from the date of receipt of one's RTI application by a PIO.
You had sent your RTI application as on 15-06-2012 - is that the date of sending or the date of receipt by the PIO?
In any case if suppose the PIO had received it on 20-06-2012 then you should have filed a first appeal before 20-08-2012.
I suggest you file a first appeal with the concerned First Appellate Authority seeking condoning of delay and also simultaneously file the same RTI application afresh (i.e. file again the same RTI application that you had already filed).
This time around keep a track of dates and file a first appeal within the time limits prescribed under section 19(1) of the RTI Act, in the meanwhile if the FAA responds to your first appeal despite the delay in its filing, nothing like it.
