Need Help: RTI to Cooperative Housing Society

I am a owner of a co-operative society flat at Kolkata. I want to sale the falt and accordingly I have submitted the file along with all my documents to the Board of the society during July 2011. Still today the Board is silent in this matter and not approving to transfer the flat. I want to know why the Board not approving it ? HOW CAN I MOVE AS PER RTI - Please help

Can I move for any information from the Housing Co-operative Siciety. where i am a member ?

Cooperative Societies are not directly covered under RTI.
However, depending on the type of information you are looking for, you can try to get it through the Registrar of cooperative societies.
Also read the Cooperative Societies Act of your State as well as the Bye Laws of your society. Maybe there is already a provision there for a member to seek the information that you are seeking. In that case you don't need to file a RTI application.

Please lodge complaint with Registrar of Coop Society for delay and after a month if you do not get proper response, use RTI with PIO of Office of Registrar by referring:
