Re: Withdrawal of PF from Kandivali office..
From your account number it appears that your account is maintained at Kandivili (KND) office only. It is not clear why they sent you back the forms mentioning 'records not found'. If they dont maintain the records properly it is their fault. They have to rectify it. Please find out from your company what exactly is the problem. If the fault is with the EPF authorities, you can file an application under RTI to know the reason for not settling your claim, the persons responsible for the same and the action taken against them.Sponsorer

Re: Withdrawal of PF from Kandivali office.. Dear Taurus,
Thanks for your reply, Actually the PF return ltr. saying two reasons that "Challan F/12-A not submitted by establishment for period 2003-04 to 07-08 and specimen signature not found and copy of code draft not available in records". Then I re-fill all forms with one covering ltr. saying 'may be sign. differ' & the same signature signed on forms too and that gives to company. In last week company submitted all forms & docs through consultant in PF office Kandivali.
Pls. let me know what to do now for Withdrawal of PF..
Thanks,

Re: Withdrawal of PF from Kandivali office..
This only shows how callous the EPFO is functioning. Form 12-A is the form to be submitted by the Employer every month indicating the amount deducted etc. As a subscriber you have nothing to do with it. EPFO cannot return your claim on that ground. It is their duty to take action on the Employer for not submitting the returns for the past 4 years. You can file an application under RTI and ask what action the RPFC has taken against the employer for not submitting the return. If no action is taken, who is responsible for it and against that person what action has been taken. Secondly, the specimen signature mentioned by EPFO is not your specimen signature. EPFO does not maintain the specimen signature of the subscribers. It is the specimen signature of the employer. It is the responsibility of the EPFO to maintain it. Thirdly, by 'code draft' they may be meaning the details of coverage of the Establishment. This is the basic document that is to be maintained by EPFO as a proof that the particular establishment is covered by EPFO. If they dont have this it means that there is no proof that the establishment is covered. Then how the registration number MH/KND/93601 is given? You can ask under RTI these queries also and specifically ask who is responsible for all this mess and what action is taken on them. As a subscriber, you have paid the amount i.e. the amount has been deducted from your salary by your employer and remitted to EPFO. As such you are not to be bothered by EPFO about the nitty gritty of their accounting and management procedure. They must pay you the amount payable to you. Even in cases where the employer has not remitted the amount after deducting the same from your salary, there are provisions for EPFO to pay you the amount from their reserve fund. Please ask them whether such procedure is there and if so why the same is not followed in your case. Please follow it up and post the results in this forum for the benefit of all. Wish u all the best.
