Need Help: For Road and Transport Authority

Dear All,

Can anyone send me a sample letter to file an application for seeking status of my vehicle registration with RTA. I have applied for change of registration from one state to other. But even after one year I have not got any intimation.

I will be thankfull if anyone can send me 'a sample letter' to my mail account x.x.x.x.x.x.x.x Thanks in advance.

You can file RTI application for the purpose.

Your RTI application to RTA has to be as per the Andhra Pradesh Govt. RTI rules and fees. Please see:

Your RTI Application needs to be addressed to the State Public Information Officer (SPIO or PIO ).Please see:

RTI procedure is :
1. RTI Application with Fee to PIO
2. If no reply/ not satisfied with reply in 30 (or 35 days in case of submission to APIO or under Section 6 (3)),
First Appeal to the First Appellate Authority (normally a officer higher than the PIO )
3. If no reply/ not satisfied with reply in 45 days to the First Appeal , then Second Appeal to the CIC/SIC (time period is 90 days)
