Need Help: New Passport application under process for last 8 months

<FONT face="Times New Roman">I am a victim of the pathetic and never ending process of the Indian Gov. passport system. My file no. DLH-Z160724-08 is showing "Police report clear. Application under process" for last 8 month since it went to the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comhttp://www.rtiindia.org/forum/ /><st...<P><FONT face=We went to the passport office also but all in vain.
My husband is abroad since last 1 year and I am waiting for my passport to be processed so that I can join him. This Gov. passport system has put my personal as well as marital life at stake.
Hope that you will pay a little attention and forward my concern to the authorities as I failed doing the same as a common man.

If you want to use RTI to find out why your passpost is being delayed, just use the Search function available in the green band at top of this page and search for "passport", "passport delay" etc.
