RTI and my life

I was visiting to government offices and I saw people not working properly... They are making the delivery of services delay. I know I have the right to questions them and search information related to such delays but still I am reluctant to act. I know this happens with many of us like me... how should I change my attitude or behaviour? How???

Everyone can day-dream. It need strength, courage, gutts, determination, unity of purpose, principles, morality etc., etc.,etc., to make such dreams comes true. First assess yourself as you are the best judge of yourself. If you think you got the capabilities, or can develop such capabilities, go ahead. Other-wise, choose your leader and follow. Right to Information Act is one of the weapons this country has given to such cityzens to achieve their objectives.

It just takes 10 rupees and half an hour to submit your first query. And then you are sure to develop the hunger. But changing attitude is something that no one except yourself can achieve. It is not something you can 'outsource'.

In Nepal... RTI Act is not proper in implementation, we are still in process to make regulations. We have National Right Commission and other provisions but not effectively implemented. May be context is different. The debate of format of application is still going on... I have problem to understand myself and other people...
