Re: COURTs judgements on RTI

During the weekend, I did some homework and have quite a few decisions from Delhi HC and Punjab & Haryana HC vis a vis RTI. It is taking too much time because the High Court websites do not have a "search" function.

As and when time permits, I am carrying out the same exercise with other High Courts.

Where to upload them ?
Do we need a separate section/subsection for High Court Judgements ?
Do we put up just as it is or with a small synopsis ?

================================================== ===

During this exercise, I also noticed that both Delhi HC and Punjab & Haryana HC are frequently advising appellants (in their judgements/orders) to use RTI Act 2005 to get information/documents from Government departments and then approach the court once again. These are for cases not at all connected with RTI.
This is a very good sign and just shows that even the Courts are finding RTI a effective mechanism.
