| I have a query pertaining to a certain National Company which is controlled directly by the Government of India. The Company conducted an internal recruitment process to fill up some vacancies ( Candidates were called in from the EXISTING staff) Now there is some dispute with some departments alleging that only a particular department was favored, while the rest were ignored. Through this post I wish to ask some questions : 1) Can someone file a RTI Query to demand the Merit List and the marks obtained of the selected candidates ? (I am skeptical coz this was an INTERNAL recruitment, no public advertisements were issued whatsoever, so not sure whether information in this matter can be sought under RTI )2) Can we ask for the copy of the letter through which the enire selection process was given the green signal ? ( Like MD/ Director of the company giving his consent ). 3) I have a reference number of a particular document but not the document, can I simply file an RTI asking them to provide me a copy of the said document by quoting the reference number ?Thanks in advance ![]() Lohri , Pongal and Sankrant greetings to all of you ![]() |
