Following the footsteps of the Bombay Chartered Accountants Society (of which our member Shri Narayanvarma is one of the Trustees), the Karnataka State Chartered Accountants Association, will soon open RTI clinics to help the needy. Here is the news:

Bangalore: The Karnataka State Chartered Accountants Association will soon be starting an “RTI clinic” where people can obtain help on filing and following up applications under the RTI Act with various government departments.
Association president Mallinath S. Nainegli announced that a chartered accountant, an advocate and an activist would help people at the clinic, which would be open in the mornings on the first and third Saturdays of every month.
