Law Degree!

Hi All,
I am planning to take up a Law degree so that I can apply and educate some of them.But I have following questions.

1.What is the difference between General\Academic\Business (BGL\BAL\BBL)law?Which one is more useful with respect to dealing with Public authorities?

2.Some universities are offering correspondence courses.If I take them can I practice in court?

3.What is the qualification for notary public?.If I take a correspondence degree will I qualify as a notary public?

Help needed guys!!!
