9. What are the obligatory duties of respective staffs posted in Dwarka? Are they suppose to make inspection/site visit to verify facts/maintenance and protect the properties?
10. LET US Know the status of Sports Complex Sector 23. ? By when it will be completed ?
11. Who has authorized Dwarkdheesh temple to extend a pucca shed in the temple in sector 12 ? no body has authorized, why authorities could not remove the same.
12. Please share with us the status of the Sector 20 BHARAT VANDANA PARK project, when it will be completed, budjet details if any available?
13. What is the status of ZONAL PLAN for Dwarka?
14. What is DDA is doing to ensure the Buffalos/ Cows are not stray into roads and parks of Dwarka? Whose responsibility to control this issue?
15. Traffic::
a. Where all Parking Lots/ Areas designated in Dwarka’s markets?
b. Where is the parking area for Shcools/Hospital/Religious/Commercial Areas of Dwarka?
c. If no parking Area is designated, how DDA is going to attend this problem?
d. Is Taxi/Commercial transport is allowed to park vehicles in markets like Sector 6/10,4,5,11,12?
e. How is catering vans(mobile eating outs example Vehicle No. DL1LC8271 as reported by Mr. Menon in his complaint to DDA)operates from service roads?
16. DDA Dwarka: Budget :
a. Please provide the Budget Amount for DDA Dwarka for Project and Maintenance for Year 2006-2007 and 2007-2008 Financial Year?
b. Please provide the percentage spend for the year 06-07 and 07-08.
c. If the amount allocated is not spend for the year 06-07, reason fro the same?
d. Please provide the NON-Plan Expenditure for the year 06-07?
e. What is the procedure for NON-Plan Expenditure?
17. As per RTI Under sec 2(j)(i) of the Right to Information Act, 2005, we would like to inspect all works executed since Jan 07 or completed after Jan 07. Please indicate the date, time and venue when we should come and inspect the works. At the time of inspection, we would also like to inspect the records related to these works.
18. During the period.2005 to 31.07.07, how many times have repairs (both minor and major) been carried out on major roads of Dwarka?
a. If the work was done departmentally, please provide the following
information with respect to each such work:
i. Copy of relevant portion of stock register
ii. Copy of relevant portion of labour register
iii. Exact location of spots where the work was carried out
iv. When was the work carried out
v. What was the method of repair?
vi. What was the composition of material used?
b. If the work was done through a contractor, please provide the
following information with respect to each such work:
i. Copy of measurement book (both abstract entries & record entries)
ii. Copy of sketch
iii. Copy of details of estimates
iv. If there was any guarantee clause in the contract, copy of that
portion of the contract which mentions this guarantee clause and the
conditions in which this clause can be invoked.
v. Names of the Assistant Engineer and the Executive Engineer who
inspected each of these works and passed payments. Which portions of these
works were inspected by them?
vi. Has the guarantee clause been invoked till now? If no, why despite
the fact that the roads are in such bad condition.

c. The roads are totally broken these days. Please give reasons for the
bad condition of each of these roads (please mention specific reasons for
each Main roads and Service Roads separately for each Sectors).
d. If any of the roads is broken due to water staying on the road,
please intimate whether it is due to wrong camber or due to clogged drains?
e. If it is due to wrong camber how was the payment passed? What action
will be taken against the engineer who inspected the road and let it pass like this?
f. If it is due to clogged drain, please provide following information
from the Sanitation or any other department which dealt with it:
i. When were these drains cleaned during the above period?
ii. Give copy of the measurement book of the cleaning carried out?
iii. Please provide the names of the officials who inspected and passed
the payments.
iv. This means that these officials did not do their job properly. Their
Inaction has caused so much loss to the exchequer and so much inconvenience to the public. They are also guilty of criminal misconduct under section 13(1)(d) of Prevention of corruption Act. By when will action be taken
against them?
g. The fact that these roads have broken shows that very bad material
has been used in the roads. What enquiries will be made to ascertain the
quality of the roads, fix responsibilities and in how much time will the
enquiries be completed?
h. The payments seem to have been done fraudulently and the inspection
carried out by the engineers was faulty. What enquiries will be instituted
against the engineers who passed the payments and did faulty inspection?
i. I want to take sample of material of each of these roads under section
2(j)(iii) of the Right to Information Act, 2005. The sample should be
collected from the place of my choice. It should be collected in my presence
and should be sealed and certified. Please intimate me the date, time and
venue where I should come to collect the samples.
j. When will these roads(Sector wise) be repaired now?


Please provide the all requested information as above, once the information is received as per request and as per RTI the inspection of the records/files will be done in coordination with concerned departments.

  • Enforcement:
    • How many staffs working in the enforcement depart, please provide the information zone wise/area/district/department wise through department website.
    • What are the obligatory duties of each category of staffs.?(This information be provided through department website)
    • Do enforcement staffs carry a check list(similar to that of 17 point fitness items), what all issues/items/paper to be inspected by each enforcement team when a vehicle intercepted/stopped/checked ?
    • If no such checklist, will it be made and published through its website?
    • Is no such checklist can not be created/made/implemented, please provide reason for the same from Transport Department?
    • How many vehicles are checked/verified by each team on an average per day/month?
    • It is understand that 30 Mobile Enforcement Team is under operational, if so how many vehicles checked on an average per day the team ? Do the team are in uniforms? And do they display their badge/identity card visible?

  • Updated List of Vehicle whose permission cancelled. (The information be provided through transport department website).
a) Who ensure that the vehicles permissions cancelled are not on the road?
b) If such vehicles cause any further damage/accident or run without permission and validity, what is the responsibility of transport department official’s hierarchy?
c) If so who are hierarchy wise obligatory responsible in Transport Depart?
d) If vehicles permission is cancelled by authority, is there any time limit for reapplying for permission/invoking permission? If so what is the lock period?
e) What are the statutory requirement of permit holder to comply?(provide this information through department website).
f) List of Updated Permitted All Vehicles for Public/Commercial Vehicles through Department Website.
g) As per section 2(j)(i) of the Right to Information Act 2005. I wish to inspect all the files related to this issue, including file notings etc. Kindly let me know at the earliest the location of the files and the date, time and venue where I can come and inspect the files.
  • Pollution Under Control Certificate :
    • List of Vehicles not adhering to PUC Certificate is maintained in the department ?.
    • What action is taken by the department against the list verified with PUC
    • Who ensure that the all vehicles plying on Delhi road have PUC certificate ?
    • What are the measures taken to analyse the data collected from computerised PUC testing centres where next PUC date is clearly mentioned and if a vehicle NOT got PUC after the expiry as per the Database, what action transport department taken on this?
    • In case no action taken reason for the same?
    • List of Officers hierarchy wise responsible for monitoring the PUC implementation?
    • What action can be expected from transport department with regard to data collected for vehicle not renewed PUC ?
    • If the above is not implemented so far, will it be implemented ?
    • As per department website shows issued a total of 249451 and 31549 PUC’s. This in comparison with total 5139549(as per department website 31/3/07)
    • Why there is huge gap (in consideration that total of 2,81,000 PUC issued in March 2007 [consider it average] multiply by three months =843000 – 5139549 = 4296,549 vehicle without PUC?)?
    • Who ensure that the Pollution Checking Centres are issuing certificate in conformity with standards emission rule? Please provide list of official’s responsible hierarchy wise through department website.?
    • Validity of PUC certificate for EURO II, III or higher category vehicle is 3 months. Is there any plan to increase this validity? If not why this validity cannot be increased?
    • As per section 2(j)(i) of the Right to Information Act 2005. I wish to inspect all the files related to this issue, including file notings etc. Kindly let me know at the earliest the location of the files and the date, time and venue where I can come and inspect the files.
  • Double Deck Buses:
    • Do Transport Depart of NCT Delhi permits/allow Double Decker buses on NCT Roads ?
    • It is been noticed that a number of BUS with Deck facility run on Highways(NH8) coming from Rajasthan etc, are these buses comply with standard procedures and are legal to run on roads ?
    • Who ensure safety of such vehicles under Motor Vehicles Act?
    • Do Transport department of NCT have any role on the fitness of these vehicles ?
    • If such vehicles are not permitted, why no action taken ? and if such scenario who all are to be held responsible in the event of any mishap by such unauthorised.
    • What is the capacity in terms of sitting and standing in such double deckers if permitted? And who ensures the adherence ?
    • Under what permission rules the private buses operates from Dhaula Kuan or other places towards Gurgaon and Sona Road etc (For example Bus with MEWAT road service etc).
    • Are they adhering the NCT Delhi Transport regulations ?
  • Fitness of Vehicles: (296586 ? Public/Commercial Vehicles)
    • Who ensures the fitness of the vehicles.?
    • What is the validity for fitness of Public and Commercial vehicles ? (Please provide through department website).
    • On an average how many vehicle run on NCT Delhi without Fitness certificate?
    • How many vehicles gets fitness certificate in a day under departments various fitness centres under different categories?
    • How many vehicles gets fitness certificate in a month?
    • In comparison with fitness certified vehicles against total number of vehicles(296586?), what is the average (% ) in terms of non-fitness vehicle on Delhi Roads by category wise?
    • How many vehicles were caught not adhering to fitness certificate since year 2006 till June 2007?
    • What is department is doing to reduce the number of non-certified fitness vehicle?
    • If a non-certified fitness vehicle met with accident and loss of property or human what responsibility department will have? If so who all are hierarchy wise responsible?
    • As per section 2(j)(i) of the Right to Information Act 2005. I wish to inspect all the files related to this issue, including file notings etc. Kindly let me know at the earliest the location of the files and the date, time and venue where I can come and inspect the files.
    • Which are the agencies approved by the department to fix and repair/service the Speed Governors?
    • Whose responsibility to have speed governors working?
    • As reported in the recent news reporting following blue line bus accident most of the buses found without SPEED GOVERNORS. Are they in violation and contempt of court? If so what action is taken ?
    • Why the fitness certificate or date of expiry and certificate no is not displayed on the vehicles?
    • If the above is not implemented by when it will be implemented, so that the commuters also aware the vehicle they are travelling is having fitness certificate.
    • What is the regulation/rule regarding parking of buses/trucks and other commercial/public carrier vehicles parking? Are they been allowed to park on roads? If they parked on the roads, who is supposed to take action?
  • Helpline number : (42400400)
    • Who maintain the helpline numbers? Is it by department or outsourced? If it is outsourced what this duration of the contract with current contractor?
    • Who monitor the helpline from transport depart to handle escalated complaints ?
    • How many complaints on an average the helpline receives ?
    • Have all complaints been closed ? What is the duration of escalation of each complaints by stage wise ?
    • How department is getting the Helpline Number is published on PUBLIC Transport/Commercial Vehicles ?
    • Why not all the vehicles not displaying promptly the Helpline Numbers?
    • Is there any proposal to have helpline numbers displayed inside taxi’s/auto rickshaws visible for visiting tourists/commuters?
    • Who are the officials responsible for the implementation/ensuring of the Helpline numbers displayed in respective category of vehicles ?
    • If any vehicle found without displaying the Helpline Numbers what action is taken ? under what rule?
    • Since year 2006 till June 2007, how many vehicle caught without Helpline Number Display ?
    • Who ensure that the helpline numbers are working round the clock. In case the helpline numbers are not working whom to be contacted (Provide through department website)
    • Have the transport department computerised the Helpline Department ?
    • Why the Helpline numbers be made toll free and SMS for public to complain?
    • Do Helplines provide assistance to commuters of Taxi/Autorikshaw fare chart index and distance and fare help if calls made to helpline?
  • RTV
    • How RTV (Rural Transport Vehicle) is allowed to ply on Urban Delhi Roads?
    • Are the RTV’s Crashworthiness?
    • Under what category RTV vehicle is considered and reason for the same?
  • Three Wheelers:
    • Three Wheeler Passenger Autorikshaws drivers harassment to public is well known and also confirm by department advertisement. What action department is taken to ensure that Drivers are not over charged the commuters?
    • Why the enforcement is not successful in controlling the fleecing by Auto Drivers?
    • If any auto commuter makes complaint to helpline, what are the procedures applied by the department ? Please provide it through website.
    • If there is complaint against an auto driver and when the address for correspondence is returned as the original owner may sold the vehicles or given wrong address. What action department taken in such cases of wrong address
    • How many such notices return to department without finding the address
    • What action have taken on the pending notices?
    • What are the permit rules for Auto Rickshaws in Delhi, please provide it through department website.
    • Is there any restriction on number of permission by one individual?
    • Is permission is transferable ?
    • If so what are the procedure to be applied?
    • In case any original owner or permission procession not inform the department what action is taken ?
  • Vehicle Movement Restrictions:
    • What are the vehicle movement restrictions please provide through department website?
    • If any restricted vehicles enter the road/city during the restricted period and cause damage of property/human or traffic block. What action will be taken? What will be the obligatory duty of the concerned zone officials. In case if the concerned officials fail to control and the restricted vehicle and later on met with accident what action will be taken against officials?
    • How many vehicles were impounded by department since 2006 for violation of restriction?
    • Have department installed CCTV in the border entry points? If not why this is not been implemented? By when the CCTV installation will be done at entry/exit points of NCT Delhi?
    • Do transport department is doing its obligatory duty in restriction of heavy vehicles entry as per Court Orders in the past ?
    • What is the status of restriction on Three Wheeler Goods vehicles movement during the peak hours ?
    • Is there any specific lane demarked for Three wheeler to drive on main roads of NCT Delhi, if so what is the status of the same ?Please provide the same through department website.
  • Updated List of Contact of All officials of Transport Departments for Enforcement/Checking /Fitness etc Zone wise through department website.
  • Number Plate and allotment
    • What is the policy for allotment of Numbers/Registration of Vehicles? Please provide through website
    • How is old Registration numbers (such as DDD 1234) is re allotted to new vehicles manufactured and registered after the new number plate policy in place ?
    • Are they in compliance with policy? If not who has taken the decision to allot such old numbers?
    • What is the procedure applied for allotment of VIP number beginning with DL-F-XXXXX.?
    • It is been observed and also reported that a number of VIP number registered vehicles display registration number not in confirm with standard specification, what action have department taken on this issue? And how may vehicles were fined since 2006 till June 07?
    • Have department checked such vehicles flees the traffic police and enforcement team with influential connections ?
    • How many vehicles under DL-F issued any notice or challan since 2005?
    • If issued in comparison with normal category of vehicles the percentage of violation and booking under this category ?
    • If any govt vehicles violates the rules what action is taken? The action is taken against the driver or the concerned officers responsible for the vehicle?
    • How is vehicles registration number starts with DL-S is allotted to four wheelers which was originally decided for Two wheelers?
    • Who has taken this decision to change the original number scheme?
    • What is the plan of the department to have permanent Number Plates in Vehicles?
    • Why Commercial and Public Carrier Vehicles are not displaying the Vehicles registration number on the side’s vehicles as per earlier directions?
    • What action department is taken in this regard ? Is this is checked when the permit/fitness certificate issued ?

    • What measure are taken by department to restrict the commercial HGV/LGV not carrying overloaded?

    • If any overloaded vehicle met with accident and traffic jam what will be responsibility of respective zone/area officials? And what action can be expected from department against the staffs ?
    • Is there any weighing measures in the entry and exits points of Delhi to check the Over loading.

    • What measures are taken by department to control overloading by three wheeler goods vehicles?

  • What action Transport department taking on various news papers reports on accidents/complaints? Who is the official concerned with noting of such news paper/media reports ?
  • Vehicle Impounded and Released for year 2006 and 2007 till July 15th along with reason for releasing.
  • Have any vehicle release been re-impounded, if so provide the list of the same.

  • How many vehicles can one person own, is there any restriction ?
  • How many routes can one person can have? Is there any restriction to number of routes/permits for person/family members?
  • List of Vehicles got fitness certificate and within one month met with accident or break down.
  • In case any HTV/HGV caused a traffic jam due to breakdown, will there be any action ? If no action reason for the same?. Provide us list of vehicles fined for breakdown in busy roads.
  • How many staff is allowed in Public Carrying Vehicle, If its more then the Driver and Conductor what action is taken and in the past one year how many such vehicle caught by the department?
  • What is the standing capacity in a public carrier and why this is not mentioned in the bus and displayed ? what actions I taken in this regard ?

    • Have the above vehicles issued Fitness Certificate by department? If so please provide the name of the officials who issued the certificates, Have department ordered any enquiry into such incidents and fitness certificate issue? If not reason for the same?
    • As per section 2(j)(i) of the Right to Information Act 2005. I wish to inspect all the files related to this issue, including file notings etc. Kindly let me know at the earliest the location of the files and the date, time and venue where I can come and inspect the files.
  • School Bus/ Van/Mini Bus:
    • Please provide the status of the accident of the school bus that fall on Yamuna near Wazirabad and loss of 30 Children few year back.
    • What are the actions that department taken following the supreme court order following this accident?
    • Have all the order directions been complied?
    • If any point is pending, please provide us the same along with reason for not implementation.
    • Have department permits the school buses to be used for other purpose(Other than school requirements?)?
    • What are the measures and enforcement taken by department to ensure the transport of school children are safe by School Buses. Please provide through department website.
    • Under what rules and permission the Marti Vans and other kind of vehicles are allowed to transport school children?
    • How many times in a month enforcement/checking team inspects the school opening time to check the arrival of buses/transporting vehicles in conformity with standards requirements and while leaving from the school after the school hours?
    • If there is no check conducted by enforcement team in the last one year ? Please provide the reason for the same?
    • What is department is doing to have safe public transport system for schools?
    • What is the department is doing to reduce the traffic block in school areas during the opening and closing hours by parents dropping in private vehicles?
    • Are there any restriction on number of children can transferred in one particular vehicle, if so please provide the information through department website.
    • If any violation of the above what action have department taken in the past?
    • What are the specification for School Buses/Vans, please provide this through department website.
  • For peak hour traffic restriction for commercial vehicles (HGV/LGV) If so, if any such vehicle met with an accident, will there be any responsibility on the part of Transport department of the concerned zone/area ?
  • On an average how many vehicles is impounded, how many is been fined? On an average one officer/staffs fine how many vehicles.
  • Why and how the average is goes high when specific enforcement drive is on. Why this average is not maintained in normal days? Reason for the same?
  • When department staff stops any vehicle for violation, do they check for all violation and omission and charge only for one or for all violations they charge? If they are not charged for all violation, why it is so ?
  • List of court orders/verdict in which court asking Transport Department to enforce or act and status as on date?
  • Official’s Obligatory duties in enforcement, if senior officials are obligatory to do enforcement, provide the list of officers and when was last time they have made rounds of the city and enforced. In one month how many times such drive is conducted by senior officers.
  • Chartered Buses:
    • Who decided the fare of chartered buses ?
    • What is the role of the department in Chartered buses routes and fare structure?
    • If there is no role for department in fare structure decision of the department, please provide reason for the same.?
    • What are the guidelines of the chartered buses? Please provide the same through department website?
  • Taxi Services:
    • Why the helpline numbers of the department is not prominently displayed in various type of taxi services (Yello Cab/DLY/Private Taxis/Radio Taxis etc..)?
    • Who decides the taxi fares from Airports/Railway Stations/Metro Stations and ISBTs
    • What is department is doing to ensure that the taxis are not fleecing commuters from Railway station/Airports/ISBT etc ?
    • In a month how many times enforcement/department staffs visit railway stations/airports/ISBT etc to verify the taxi services are properly run and commuters are not harassed?
    • If no visits are made, please provide reason for the same.
    • Why private vehicles are parked in licensed Taxi stands? Are they part of the services?
    • How is department is ensuring that private vehicles are not been used as taxis and loss to state exchequer.
    • Why the taxi’s/auto rickshaw’s are not displaying the fare charts/distance index sheet for commuters?
    • Have department checked for these missing charts when the enforcement team stops such vehicles?
    • Where should such charts to be displayed by Taxis/Auto rickshaws?
    • Have these fare charts updated and posted in department’s website?
    • How is department ensuring the Taxi’s/Auto rickshaws are not fleecing commuters from and to Airports/ Railway Stations/ Major District Centres and Tourist Centres ?
    • Have department conducted any special enforcement drive to ensure the tourists are not harassed by touts/taxis/rickshaw walah at Airports/ Railway Stations, hotel areas(Paharganj) and tourist centres and destinations?
    • What is department is doing (Specific action) to control the growing violations by Max Cabs operated from Gurgaon/Noida/Faridabad/Gaziabad etc
    • Have department failed in controlling these max cabs?
    • If the driving with mobile phone is not allowed, how is the max cabs are allowed to operate wireless sets while driving?
  • CNG: What are the policy of CNG vehicles fitness and permission rules. Please provide through department website.
    • What are the action that department taken till date to ensure the CNG fitted vehicles adhere the safety regulations ?
    • Please provide list of authorised agencies approved to fix CNG conversion through department website
  • LPG : What are the policy of LPG vehicles fitness and permission rules. Please provide through department website
    • What are the action that department taken till date to ensure the LPG fitted vehicles adhere the safety regulations ?
    • Please provide list of authorised agencies approved to fix LPG conversion through department website
  • Other Fuels: What are the policy under consideration for various future compatible fuels for vehicles. Please provide through department website
  • Contract carriage: What is the definition of contract carriage? Please provide details through department website
  • Dwarka Transport plan:
    • What are the departments plan for Dwarka Sub-City of Delhi?
    • How many buses have provided for the public transport system of Dwarka?
    • Are they sufficient?
    • If they are not sufficient, by when it would be completed ?
    • What should be rates for taxis from Different sectors of Dwarka to Domestic Airport/Intl. Airport/New Delhi/Old delhi/Nizamudin Railway stations?
    • Why these rates are not published on department website? Will be be updated and published?
    • If the local taxis charges more than what department fixed, will there be action?
  • Updating of Department website:
    • The department website still shows old helpline no. 9604-400-400 under the page Why this information is not updated?
    • How many staffs are working in the IT department of the department and how many of them are looking after the website management and updating ?
    • Who ensure that the department website is kept updated with all information ?
    • Why the advertisement published in News Papers are not posted and updated on Department Website?
  • Driving /Training Centres and its related affairs:
    • Please provide list of authorised driving training institute/agencies in NCT Delhi through department website.
    • Please also provide the Terms and conditions / Rules the training institute should maintain?
    • Do driving training vehicles allowed to run through main roads and colony roads, while/during training the probable drivers ?
    • What are the procedures for Learners License. Please provide the details through department website.
  • Status of road safety research submitted Indian Foundation of Transport Research and Training ?
    • As per the report and news reporting, The week-long survey, conducted between July 5 and 12, found 6,300 private CNG buses and 2,000 private diesel buses running without speed governors and other safety measures by abusing inter-state permit conditions. Why there is so much difference even after supreme court direction.
    • Does this report means that the department enforcement is not acted timely?
    • IF there was any failure on the officials of the transport department, please provide the name and designation and employ identity number of the official’s hirearchywise.
    • As per this report “Checking with the Transport Departments of Gurgaon, Faridabad, Bahadurgarh in Haryana and Noida, Ghaziabad and v in UP, we have found that the only 15 to 20 per cent of CNG buses actually enter these states. The rest of the buses operate within Delhi”. What is the comment of the transport department on this finding?

    • Are they being issued challans later?
    • Do transport depart of NCT Delhi have the database of all vehicles registred in neighbouring cities mentioned above ?.
    • If not what is the department is doing to control the out of states vehicles not respecting the Delhi’s traffic rules ?
  • How roadworthiness of a vehicle is is checked by Transport department? How many such tests were conducted till date?
  • What is the status of computerisation and linking with other states transport department in sharing the data? By when this would be ready?
  • Security and BECON driver Private Vehicles:
    • What is the procedure to have BECON on PRIVATE Vehicles(Not owned or registered in govt departments/ministry)?
    • How many such private vehicles are on Delhi road with RED/BLUE/YELLOW Becon Lights
    • What is the policy of the department in this regard.
    • Since there was Security breach during the parliament attack and misused the BECON. What is department is doing to ensure NO UNAUTHORISED use of BECON’s in PRIVATE VEHICLES whose so ever it may belongs to?
    • What is the procedure/rule regarding BECON fitted vehicles from other states ? Are they been inspected and verified ? In not why this check was not conducted?
    • Do such vehicles needs to carry some documents of approval ? if so what are they?
  • Administration and Public Dealing office of Transport Department:
    • Who ensures that public dealing offices/counters are opened in time and supervised by supervisor not to have inconvenience to public?
    • In case of any counter is not opened in time, what action is taken against the staff causing inconvenience to public?
    • What is the responsibility of supervising officials hierarchy wise in this matter?
    • Have department put proper signage and displayed information’s at all public dealing offices?
    • In case in any department’s public dealing office not found proper signage and guidance and display of information what action will be taken against official responsible for?
    • What is the public Grievances Mechanism department have established?
    • How many complaints have received and how many been RESOLVED?
    • What is the vigilance setup of transport department ?
    • How many complaints have received by vigilance department and how many been RESOLVED? What is the status of various investigations/cases?
    • How many RTI received by the department in the year 2005/2006 and 2007 till June.
    • Have any staffs been provided uniforms? If so grades of staffs who provided uniforms.
    • What is the policy of the department to display staffs identity card/badge? Are they t be displayed always on duty? Are they been implemented?
    • Have department taken any action on the basis of complaints/RTI queries to improve the transport condition of the NCT Delhi, if so what are the measures taken?
    • Have Action plan mentioned in the Transport policy of the NCT Delhi implemented? If not implemented please provide list of items not implemented and reason for the same. (
    • Please provide the status (as on June 2007) of all the above listed Tasks point wise (1 to 55)
    • What is the status of constitution of IMTA ? By when the IMTA would be functional, please provide precise information.

This important post was made under 'New Member Introduction', and were not at the right place. I had splitted them.

Also kindly do not copy paste from the 'Microsoft word' document to RTI India Portal, as the 'word' contains lot many invisible and non-recognizable tags which breaks the continuity of the text. If you do need them to be copied, kindly first copy them to your note pad and then copy from notepad to RTI India, so that the notepad distroys the 'Word' invisible tags.

sorry, i did'nt know that, i wud certainly take care of it.
certainly commendable job you guys are doing by managing this site and bringing all rti applicants into one network. Together we all could help our country to work in transparent and accountability.
Mahesh, These are the new ones just filed,and waiting for answers. I too spend quite time on drafting this rti so le the pio also work. I will trouble them if no answer only after 60 days(not 30 days) as information requested volume is substantial and in the interest of larger community.
May I suggest, we must have prominently display STEP by STEP procedures(Application, 1st Appeal,2nd Appeal, CIC Appeal etc) in the home page to have new RTI applicants(in case such is not in this site).
Also a group of people must be encouraged to invite other members(in other RTI group) to here and strengthen the network. You will see a lot of good RTI applicant in the NDTV website, Humjanege, ORKUT etc.. slowly steadly the network will be popular. Also make some visibilty through media .
