Re: RTI application returned ,what is to be done?

There are many solutions. If you are very sure that your addressee is a public authority, please arrange to get the 'proof of delivery(POD)' from your coureer. Normally they take two weeks time. If you insist they may arrange to provide you the photostate urgently. Once you get it wait for 30 days from the date of delivery to complete. Forget that you received your application back . Let the PIO say that he has returned it and let him explain its reason. I am presuming that it is not returned undelivered as stated by you. File the First Appeal on expiry of 30 days from the date of delivery of your application to the PIO pleading that the PIO has not provided you the information requested . If I am in your position I will not give any indication of receiving it back.
