Re: Want to see ECS Document
ICICI bank is a private entity and information can be accessed from them under sec. 2(j) of the act i.e. you will have to file a RTI application with RBI to seek information from the bank.Sponsorer

Re: Want to see ECS Document
Devender Singh ji
To acquaint yourself with RTI please go through the 'All About RTI' links on the homepage and the RTI Guide (RTI Guide) section of this portal.
Your RTI application to RBI has to be as per the Central Govt. RTI rules and fees. These are available in the Guide segment of the forum. Please see:
RTI Guide
The guide segment also has a lot of information about drafting a RTI application, fees, mode of payment, how to submit, etc. Please spend some time browsing around that section.
Your RTI Application needs to be addressed to the Central Public Information Officer (CPIO or PIO).
How to locate PIO:
HOW TO LOCATE A PIO UNDER RTI ACT 2005 - RTI Guide
your queries should be in the form of seeking information not seeking an opinion or explanation.
This will answer most of your queries. Feel free to revert if you have further doubts.

Re: Want to see ECS Document
ICICI bank is not a public authority and is not required to answer RTI applications. RTI can be filed to RBI asking for information regarding ICICI Bank.
However in your case you have asked information relating to deduction from your own account. The bank is required to give you that information even without RTI. If you think there is a wrong deduction you can file a written complaint to the nodal officer. I think that will suffice. If the matter is not settled within 30 days, you can approach the banking ombudsman.
