I am Jitender Yadav From Rewari(Haryana). I applied for passport in aug 2008. I have completed police verification after 3 month. But still now i am not receiving my passport. NOw i also lost my file reference number, so i am not able to check online passport status. Please help me how i get my file number from passport office.

you can find your application reference number from local police station from where your verification has been done if you know the date of your verifications. Try to find out under which police station your village come they can help you. or if you any reciept of payment you made to them.
