Cantonment Boards
dear Sirs,I want to know whether the Cantonment boards,coming under the ministry of defence comes under the purview of RTi .
If so ,in the event of a information regarding the function of the Cantonment, from which authority the information should be sought?
Please also enlighten me the various ways i can be of use to the society.I am a retired Bank executive,interested in getting the benefits of this act to the commoners.Thanks.regards.k.P.Rajagopalan

Cantonment Boards are Public authorities as defined in Sec 2(h) of the RTI act.Sponsorer
They have a CPIO and you can apply for information to him.
