Registering a society for RTI
Hi All,
i would like to register my group under Societies Registration Act, 1860; the Indian Trust Act, 1882; the Charitable & Religious Trust Act, 1920, Section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956.
Aims and object:-to educate rti and village development.
work-field will be at manipur but would like to regd under maharashtra state.
can someone guide me.

Though India is being known as 'A NATION', the legal formalities and rules are different from place to place. Not even from state to state. I mean from place to place in a state. So what I really suggest you is that it is better to get your registration done at your place for not attracting unwanted problems.
