Sir, I have sent an application with required fee to Manager,National Insurance Co.Ltd,M.G.Road,Trivandrum to get some information from that branch under RTI on 12/3/2009.The application was sent under RPAD which was received by them on 13/3/2009,but till date I didn't get any reply from that end.So let me know the steps I have to take for getting the information .Thanking you mkprasad |

The reply of the PIO is due on 14/4/2009.Just add a few more days for any postal delays. If you still do not get the information you asked for, it can be considered as "deemed denial" of information .File a First Appeal for deemed denial.A format for such a First Appeal is attached to this post:http://www.rtiindia.org/forum/3363-d...html#post11618Just modify it to suit your requirements. |

Sir Is it mandatory that the petitioner should appear in person before the Central CIC during hearing - its far away from my native place and I cannot afford such a thing |

Registrar of the concerned IC (by Phone, fax and email) to allow you to participate in the hearing by Audio or Video Conferencing. In Audio conferencing you can participate by telephone sitting in your own home. For Video conferencing, you will have to do it from the NIC Video Conferencing centre, which are located in every district headquarters. |
