CIC fumes at ‘babugiri’ in Kadapa Tirupati: Y S Rajasekhara Reddy may be ruling the state with a deft hand as M Satyanarayana Rao says, but time has come to set his home turf in order first as Kadapa district officials got tongue lashing from the state chief information commissioner (CIC) C D Arha who spit fire on the district officials for their ‘babugiri.’ The sharp reaction came from the commissioner when Kadapa collector M T Krishna Officer and administrative officer Gunabhushana Reddy failed to submit proper records pertaining to the RTI Act implementation during a review meeting with collectors and SPs of Chittoor, Kadapa, Anantapur and Nellore districts held here on Thursday. Stating that only Kadapa and Karimnagar districts have failed to submit the records, Arha said it was unfortunate that the administrative apparatus was so poorly served in spite of it being the home district of the CM. Urging the officials to submit a detailed report on RTI implementation by November 30, Arha sent a beamer when he said, “Are you living in a fool’s paradise?” He was also upset with the SPs of Nellore, Kadapa and Anantapur for not attending the meeting. Earlier, at a review meeting with TTD officials, the commissioner expressed his displeasure at the contradictory entries made on RTI reports submitted by various TTD departments. Welcome |
