Question Are my questions acceptable under rtia

    Valid RTIA Questions

Posted Yesterday at 06:40 AM by roycal

I am fighting a law suit with a Nationalized Bank and a Promoter.
Through my lawyer, I filed the attached queries and the same was preliminarily accepted after I duly authorized my lawyer to file the queries on my behalf as a 3rd Party and paid the requisite fees. My questions to the forum are as follows:
[LIST=1][*]From this website I understand that I can make queries even if the subject matter is sub-judice, but the person who accepted my letter in the Bank mentioned that my queries would possibly be returned unanswered. Please quote applicable sections under which I can compel the Bank to answer my queries on a matter that is 'sub-judice'?[*]My intentions are to pin down the Bank on specifics which can later be used for cross examination. Is this allowed? If any kind member has the time, he/she may go through my queries and advise if any/all of the questions should be reworded to ensure that I receive an answer.

Details of the case can be viewed at http://roycalcutta.googlepages.com/u...diabankmanager

Sec 8(1)(b) of the RTI Act (please read the online RTI Act at: act.rtiindia.info) only allows the PIO to deny that information that has been specifically prohibited to be published by a court of law.

Just because the matter is "sub-judice", it is not a valid ground for denial of information.
