We are 50,000 strong today !

10,000 members on 4th September 2008

25,000 members on 17th January 2009

35,000 members on 10th March 2009

50,000 members on 14th May 2009

Congratulations to our Administrator Kushal and to all our Moderators, Community Builders and other members of the Staff who have helped us during all these days to manage this portal by contributing their time and effort on a totally voluntary basis.

I feel proud of being part of the 50,000/- But how effective we are ? If a responsible member or the Moderator request all the members though a post in this forum to send one POST CARD to a particular addressee, the percentage of cards so sent can be considered as its effective strength. If we can muster at least 20%, I shall consider this as a force to be reckoned with.

Great to be part of this ever-growing community. From Sept last year, it took four months to add 15000 members. Now in tow months we have repeated that feat!!!

Would the Administrator let us know the % of these 50,000 members who are participating actively in this Portal ( posts more than 5 in different threads ) ?

active participation need not necessarily mean posting a minimum number of threads. lot of people log in and read through the posts and still do not post. i do that in some other forumboards.

probably we should be looking at some other parameter if at all we wish to guage the "active" member strength. but hte mere fact that this portal attracted attention of 50,000 people who have a wish to know about the rti act in itself is wonderful. it is upto us to activate teh sleeping members by contributing to this portal as much as we can.
