Is NG Suncity in Thakur Village Kandivali (E) on Forest land? The builder is saying they have OC from the authorities. Also, there are many families staying there in Phase I, II and III. Banks like SBI, IDBI etc are also financing the project. Still it is roumoured to be on forest land.
Banks sanctioning the loan is not really a 100% way of confirming that building is legal. Remember, some builing that were developed on nalla in Miraroad were demolished some 2 months back; Few were crying that they had taken loan from banks.
Who said Registrar won't accept the stamp duty. Here is the biggest problem in India. Building proposal dept and Property registrar dept are not interlinked. That's why it is very easy for builder to convince about legality.
Remember when the building is illegal no one would buy the flat, so the buiulder get the fake signature of officers of officers sign on document that the yare authorized.
Home is kinda once in lifetime investment. Tread caution.
Abhishek, can you ask your builder the file number of the ruling favoring builder. Court document can be asked in RTI too.

I am looking forward to buy home in NG Suncity phase III. Are above documents valid for NG Suncity Phase III in Thakur Village?
Is Sun City Phase III comes under forest area or it has got NOC? is it safe to buy?
