Request for checking accounts in cooperative society not being answered
I am an associate member in Shree Saraswati Coop.Hsg.Society, which is now under redevelopment. My house has been demolished and i stay in a transit flat in the redeveloped building inside the society premises. However the developer and the committee have decided to keep one room locked stating that my eligibility permits only 700sq.ft. and the transit is 935 sq.ft. Further they are insisting on taking rent from me in cash without a valid receipt. When I requested for accounts scruting from the Mg.Committee in writing, the same is ignored and without any reply. I am harrassed by comments which has led to mental torture. Hence I request you to guide me, and help me providing the registrars name and contact details. Our society is located in M ward of chembur-400 071.
Regards,
Ranjankumar R.Amin

Re: Request for checking accounts in cooperative society not being answered
Mr.Ranjan,
As per the Development guidelines the temporary accomodation terms and conditions are agreed before anything else,99.9% the transit camp accomodation is provided free of cost to the tenants or they are paid rent by the builder so it is out of question that you have to pay rent.even if you are an associate member and have been staying in that building along with the permanent member still it doesnt change any thing.I think if they have already provided you with the equal amt of sq,ft area what u were holding or higher than that, then providing extra may not be right.
