CADA chief's 3 'sutras' for official probity

BELGAUM: MN Vijaykumar, the CADA administrator known for his crusade against corruption, has written to 37 departments coming under CADA, demanding that the offices be made transparent and accessible to people Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, Vijaykumar said he�s enabled by law as head of CADA to direct any department under its jurisdiction.

Corruption still reigns in the developmental works. He took the pro-people attitude to upkeep the morality in public works and dealings, Kumar said.

Vijaykumar said that under the Right to Information Act, people have all rights to know all about the public works and their progress. But the official believes that instead of waiting for people to move RTI Act, the departments should give out details on their own in three phases.
