    Default Procedure of Fee Refund


    I was selected in IBS HYD which is a UGC recognised college and a Deemed University so i paid the registration fee of Rs 80,000 now due to some reason i do not want to join the college but when i ask the college consered person they says they will not repay it back and they do not follow UGC rules but according to UGC the colllege should pay the fee back by cutting some amount. plz help me.

    Yes, as per UGC directives, the college should refund the fee after deducting a processing charge of not more than Rs 1,000.
    Please send a written application to the college asking for refund of the fees.
    As of now the matter is not related to RTI but if you do not get refund after making application for it you can use RTI.

    According to UGC rules the college should refund the fee but the college department are not replying to my request , in this case whome should i send the complain to RTI or UGC .SO what will be the procedure can any one help me.

    Pl lodge a detailed complaint to UGC with photocopies of evidence of payment of fee and refusal etc. Mark copy to the university registrar. If no action is intitiated by UGC or University in a month, pl file RTI appln with CPIO of UGC. Private universities are not directly under RTI and hence follow up with UGC. Pl refer:

    A minor but important correction in this regard: the relevant directives are issued by AICTE and not UGC.

    have taken admission in Symboisis Pune for PGDBA course F.Y.2009-10 accordingly submitted fee Rs. 15000.00 and I could not submit the rest fee Rs. 10000.00 due to some financial problem. Now I can not to contineu this course. I have requested to them for refund of my submitted fee but they have shown their inabillity for refund the same. May kindly advice me regarding refund of the same.

    Default Refund of Fee


    Sir,
    I have taken admission in M.B.A in university of lucknow at new campus in I.M.S.in the year 2009-10 and paid RS 39,000 as the admission fee.But due to certain reason i withdrew(cancelled) my admission before starting of the classes.Now the V.C. of University Of Lucknow had declared that the fee will be refunded only when the student had withdrew its admission within 15 days from the date of admission.Now please tell me how can i get my fee refunded as i am not sure that i have cancelled my admission within 15 days from the date of admission.Please tell me is the fee amount is refundable as per UGC's guidelines or any other authorised body rule.
