Dear Mr. Karira, Could you please explain whether we can file 'Special leave to appeal' under CIC management rules ? I think that the Chief info commissioner has NOT totally ruled out the REVIEW procedure. In one of my complaints on three RTI applications, I got a Bizarre decision by a CIC who did not even bother to consider my grounds & prayer and passed judgement only on one RTI application. She had totally ignored the other two RTI applications mentioned in the same complaint in spite of repeated pleas in the hearing. What can I do in such a situation ? Review or Special leave to appeal is the only remedy in CIC. I am sure that our Chief Info Commissioner cannot digest such a decision. I have been seeing from his decisions, he is bit reasonable. |

Quote:
23. “Finality of Decision: A decision or an order once pronounced by the Commission shall be final.” In view of this, the CIC cannot entertain such a request. Copy of Amendment is attached.
