Delay of passport 4 months

Dear Sir,

I was applied passport for my wife on 18th Dec'08 with perfect attachments at Hyderabad(File A308812). for the same after one month police enquiry also done and every thing is clear. But sill now i haven't received her passport. when ever we are calling the passport office their answer is police enquiry is not at received. For that also she was taken enquiry clearing letters from the police commissioner and submitted in passport adalat two times. But still now no result. plz help us kindly issue her passport.

Dear Mr. J.P. Mohammad

your wife can file RTI application to check the status of her passport.

RTI application to concerned RPO has to be as per Central Govt. RTI Rules & will be addressed to Central Public Information Officer (CPIO or PIO ).

RTI fee: Indian Postal order/D.D./B.C. of Rs.10/- payable to "ACCOUNTS OFFICER"

I am thankful for your suggestion. Here i would like to request you that ware she has to approach to submit complaint regarding her passport in Hyderabad. Can i get any address or contact details. If there is any please let me know.

Did you file an RTI application as advised earlier? If so, what was the response?

Dear Sandeep,


My wife is getting her police enquiry documents from her home town so that by attaching that enquiry she will submit the complaint in HYD passport office.

Otherwise they will give the response that no police enquiry again.


She will get it soon and thankful for you friends great help.

I will post the response soon after submitting the complaint .
