I am understand that banks in India these days have started verifying financial credential of prospective borrower before lending them the loan.

Unfortunately the body that holds this data (CIBIL) is not provisioned to share this with people. Today none of the loan seeker is provided with their credit details/scoring.

I would want to know, how I can file a case through RTI so that CIBIL opens up for sharing personal data to each and every citizens by request.

This is important as today I do not stand to get loan even if my bank has submitted wrong details to CIBIL.

Welcome to this portal. CIBIL is beyond RTI. CIBIL has created lot of resentment. I had advised an aggrieved member to address suitable letters to various authorities and take corrective steps to solve this issue.
