IT Refund

I had filled my it return for the year 2007-2008 but till date i have not received my refund. so please help me to ge my refund as soon as possible.

you can file RTI application to check the status of ur refund.

You RTI application to ITAX has to be as per Central Govt. RTI Rules & will be addressed to Central Public Information Officer (CPIO or PIO ).

RTI fee: Indian Postal order/D.D./B.C. of Rs.10/- payable to "ACCOUNTS OFFICER"

Details of CPIO : The IT department has designated ALL assessing officers (ITO/AC) as CPIO 's.Your assessing officer (ITO or AC) of your ward/circle is the CPIO .This is the same assessing officer to whom you submitted your IT return wherein you claimed refund.
