All the officers appointed by the President (Govt of India) in the pay sscale Rs. 8000-13500 (pre-revised) and whose appointment are notified in gazette of India are Group 'A' Gazetted Officer. Similarly, those ooficers who have been appointed on post in the pay scale 0f Rs.6500-12000 (Pre-revised) whose appointments are made by the competent appointing authority and notified in gazette of India are Group 'B' Gazetted officer. There are no Group'C' or Group 'D' Gazetted officers.

Group 'A' and Group 'B' Gazetted Officers were earlier called (prior to 5th Central Pay Commission) as Class-I and Class-II Gazetted officer.

This is Gopi. i want to know about a information from RTI. Is a NGO, who a runs a institution for more than 25 years is eligible for make attestation ( Gazzated) . the concern person was a degree holder and instution is registered under Trust act of india.

Is the state government Employ, Who Get the Basic Pay of Rs. 12,900 is Eligible to put attestations (Gazzated). If, then that persons belong to which Catagory? ( Group 'A' or 'B' ). waiting for ur Reply.
