Dear Preeti 1. RTI Application as per rules applicable. Many states and some ministries and departments have prescribed formats. You should apply in these formats. Please read rules for that.2. For payment of RTI fee please check the relevant RTI Rules regarding fees and make payment accordingly.3. In some states it is required. Please check rules 4. Application must be sent by Registered or Speed post so that you have a proof of delivery or you can submit it personally in PIO 's office after receivingdue acknowledgment. Please go through the 'All About RTI ' links on the homepage and the RTI Guide section of the portalThe RTI Guide section has some useful articles on How, What, When, Where of RTI . They will help you in drafting your application, whom to send to, how much fees, how to pay, what rules to follow, etc. That will give you a working knowledge of how to get information under RTI .If you have any further doubts, please post them here and our members will be pleased to guide you further. regards |

It depende on the public authority to whom you are submitting the application. Many times it is 'The Accounts Officer, _____________________'. Alternatively, you may even leave the leave the field blank, and request the PIO to fill in the appropriate name. In such cas, clearly mention this fact in the RTI application itself. |
