I had asked the state excise department about rules
1) can a permit licence be issued to illegal built premises.
2)can a liqour be served in open/open garden premises
3)what is the punishment if found guilty of serving liqour in open/open garden premises.

They have answered
you have not asked for any documents and the giving of said information is not covered under the rti act.

Redraft your queries accordingly so this time PIO may not be able to deny info. If U wish U can post a draft of your RTI application for suggestion/s of our learned & helpful members

While filing any RTI application please remember:

1) Make sure you ask for information not for opinions/clarifications.
2) Never forget to sign your Application
3) Check the relevant RTI Rules regarding fees and make payment accordingly.
4) Your RTI application must serve any purpose(good)either to you or to the public.
5)Application must be sent by Registered or Speed post so that you have a proof of delivery or you can submit it personally in PIO 's office after receiving
due acknowledgment.

1) The premises where permit room licence is to be issued is subjected to verification (whether its legal/illegal) or not.Kindly provide certified copies of the rules applicable in this regard.

2) Name, designation, office address of the officer, who issues license for xxxx area.

3) Serving of liqour in open/open garden premises by the permit room licence holder is legal or not. Kindly provide certified copies of the rules applicable in this regard.

4) in reference to point no. 3, If Serving of liqour in open/open garden premises by the permit room licence holder is crime ,what are the penal provisions, Kindly provide me the certified copy of the same.

5)in reference to point no. 3, Kindly provide me with the list of such complaints received by your department.

6) in reference to point no. 5, Kindly provide certified copies of the action taken reports in all such cases.
