I dont think you are legally in a sound position to get the money back from the TNHB. They have only taken a 'tentative cost' from. You are liable to pay the final cost. Please read the fine prints of the documents carefully. Somewhere such provision may be there. It is the usual practice with State Housing Boards. They get into lot litigations and things take time to settle down. Eventually the sale deeds are also delayed in many cases. If you want to follow the RTI route, please follow all the steps as already adviced by senior members. Your "letter" to the SIC may not bear any fruit because you have not followed the procedure. |
