Restarting of Bus services

Hello all,

I wanted to know, is there any facility thro RTI to make the government transport of TN to restart the bus services, which were stopped due to bad condition of roads. After completion of new roads more than 4 years before, still the corporation has not reestablished the same servics as before. Only one bus is runing in the route in which 7 to 8 buses were there, due to which share autos mode of transportation is increased.

Kindly help to sort the isssues.

Dear Mahimai,

Public Authority - Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Villuppuram Division-III) Limited, Kancheepuram-1

1) APIO - Assistant Manager(Personal), Kancheepuram Region, Kanchepuram.

2) PIO - The Secretary,Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Villuppuram Division-III) Limited, Villuppuram.

3) Appellant Authority - The Managing Director,TamilNadu State Transport Corporation(Villuppuram Division-III) Limited, Villupuram.

Please file a RTI application with either the APIO or PIO mentioned above.

If you file with APIO he is supposed to forward the application to PIO in 5 days and the PIO will provide you with a information within next 30 days.(So 5 + 30 = 35 days)

If you file with the PIO directly he will provide you with the information within 30 days so you save 5 days that an APIO gets to forward the application.

1) Please provide me with the details of number of buses running on the route no. XXXX bus no. XXXX from the year XXXX to the current date i.e the date of filing this RTI application.

XXXX has been reduced from the year XXXX to the current date, then please provide me under sec. 4(1)(d) of the RTI Act, 2005 your quasi-judicial or administrative decision to reduce the frequency / no of buses plying on the above mentioned route.

3) Please provide me with certified copies of all the schemes announced by the Government in the last 5 years or say 10 years pertaining to increasing bus services in the State.

4) Please provide me with certified copies of all the schemes announced by the Government in the last 5 years to improve the bus services in the State.
