Illegal Govt house allotments and their dealerships

    Hi,

First of all i would like to thank the responsible and committed citizens of india who brought this Idea of RTI to the public to let them know the workflow, inspection of documents and records of various organizations so that people may get to know about their Work process.

Now my question is do we have any provision to stop illegal house allotments of govt staff flats reserved for staff people.
I am an MTNL employee.I have submitted my application for house allotment more than 1 year ago but still my number in queue is not decreasing though its increasing infact. When i ask the related department for this. They have been replying there are NO flats empty this time and senior people have to be allotted first, contracts were cancelled ,new flats are in construction progress and various other excuses...though i have seen a number of department flats (i can give their location addresses also) which are empty and have been shown filled on papers.
Doesn't this raise a question of wastage of govt properties and illegal handover of govt flats to dealers.

    Illegal Dealership

And finally i had no choice left so when i approached various dealers(i can giv their numbers even) they said i just need to tell them location n they will get me a govt flat with one month commission and two months advance with much higher rates.

Now the most important question is If the dealers have authorities of selling/renting govt properties then why Govt challenge to remove intermediators and the people who earn illegal commissions on govt facilities from common man who fights daily to have a safe roof over his family with his little earning.

    My two questions are:
    1. Cant govt take necessary steps to remove these dealers and stop their illegal commission from the pocket of poor and deserving common man who serves India and its business and can plan for his safe future with his family while giving his life to nation services.

    2. Cant govt or concerning department think of terrible mis-use of illegal house allotment and dealership who wants money only and can hand over the govt property to wrong people or terrorists even because they want nothing but the money only.

I will be thankful to you if you put your 1 min sincere attention to this issue and do the needful. This will be a little more contribution from your side towards the growth of nation and save it from wrong hands.

    Thanks
    Aditya
